The manufacturer continues to add further support, and updates the device regularly.
Each unit has a unique identifier (Serial Number) that is needed to generate the updated firmware. Firmware is device/serial number specific.
1) On the back of your iCopy-X there is a sticker with your serial number. If you can not locate the serial number on the back, go to your device and select the about menu. Your serial is listed here.
2) Turn on your device and select PC Mode, and click start.
3) Connect the USB Type-C cable that was provided to your computer.
4) The device will be mounted as a drive. Go into the root directory and delete all ".ipk" files.
5) Click on Generate Firmware below and enter the required information. A firmware will be generated. Once generated it can be downloaded and copied to the root of the ICopy-X.
6) Disconnect usb cable from the iCopy-X from the computer and click stop, to stop PC Mode.
7) Go to the About menu on your iCopy-X and scroll down once and click ok. In a few minutes the device will be updated. And the version can be verified on the About menu.
