Features of the iCopy-XS
Auto Copy - Select this feature to detect, read and write a card or fob automatically. It detects the frequency, records, the original tags information, and asks you to put the correct blank, and it even verifys that it copied successfully.
Scan Tag - If you dont't know what kind of tag you have by its appearance. Using this feature will tell you the type of tag, the frequency and the card ID number.
Read Tag - This option allows you to select the type of tag, read it, save it and even qrite it if you choose to. Very useful feature for more advanced users who want to anazlyze the file saved.
Sniff - Sniff is used when Mifare keys are not known and is able to do a reader attack and provide real-time sniffing capabilities. Once it finds a key, you can add it to its internal dictionary.
Simulation - This option can emulate a large assortment of cards, fobs and tags. Once emulated you can simulate the functionality of a original tag. This is a good feature for researchers.
PC-Mode - With PC-Mode you can attach the iCopy-X to the computer or Android cell phone and use the Proxmark software to access some more advanced features.
Backlight - You can control the displays backlight from low, medium or high. This helps in some low visibilty situations.
Diagnostics - Built in self tests allows you to detect if there is a problem.
Volume - Suprise! the iCopy-X has built in voice instructions to guide you step by step through the process of cloneing. If you are comfortable using the device and no longer need audio instructions. This is the option to control the volume.
About - About will provide you the cersions of software and hardware that are being used. You can also find your serial number here. When updates are available, the About menu is where you need to initiate them from.
Erase Tag - This is where you can erase a majority of tags. Keep in mind some tags are write once and can not be erased.
Time - This allows your files to keep the accurate time. Usefull for tracking tags and there files.
